The manual (yes, it's that desperate I opened it!) seems to imply that when using the remote heater you push the on button for 2 seconds and should then get a steady green light response. Mine flashes - for a long time before finally giving up. The heater does come on but is this how the plip really works? The book seems to say that a flashing light means that the remote hasn't 'heard back' from the controller.

Anyone else any experience of this?

when we bought our old vogue se,the remote was missing so we ordered one from landrover,,they spent umpteen times trying to get the remote to talk to the car,and failed,,i think thats what ours was doing,our heater never came on without using the dash controls 2013.5 rrs black edition in white here now

Hold the on button for 2 seconds ... If its connected it will flash the green led light back to say its talking to the car ( it will flash as long as its connected ) Bluetooth Exchange www.bluetoothexchange.co.uk
