anyone fitted a heated steering wheel to a pre 2010 RRS ?

Is there a definitive parts list anywhere ?

Obviously you need the wheel

A Left hand wheel switch pack inc heater button

what about the power socket where it plugs in ?

I have fitted a FFRR heated wheel before, but it was a replacement and straight swap......just wondering what changed on the later RRS to accomodate the heated wheel option cheers

cheers - the "clockspring" thats the bit I knew I needed but didnt know the name

ive found wheel/switch cheaper in USD so may pick up on my next business trip, and just order the clockspring from a 2010 model with heated wheel from UK dealer

its one of the things I miss from my FFRR ...at 5 am on a snowy morning  cheers

That's all you'll need, as well as to wire it in (to the connector on the clock spring) two 10amp wires from the back of the front cigarette lighter socket will do it.  Bodsys Brake Bible
