^^^^ Same here. I know I really shouldn't but you hear of issues with the EPB and I'm just a bit lazy to be honest.

This is the first auto I've owned, and I spend most if the time popping it into P as it doesn't require the EPB to be applied. However I'm beginning to get into the habit of popping it in to N and using the EPB.

D for me, unless I'm stopped for a while. I do use the EPB frequently though as I was told with my Jag that not using it caused things to seize |

![]() ![]() The parking brake is, as the name may indicate, used for when the car is parked. Enroute, D is the correct mode. Shifting between D and N or P while enroute is not required and causes unnesesary wear and tare on the plates. SW Sometimes it is not enough to do our best; sometimes we must do what is required. ![]() Now: 2016 RRS HSE DYNAMIC 3.0 TDV6 |

In D for me, I may apply the EPB if I'm sat for a while at a particular set of light and feeling curteous to the driver behind, but in 95% of the cases, I stay in D with foot on the brake. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
