2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hi mate

Yes they are, but I'd not recommend putting them on a D3 due to the Disco's kerb weight being quite "hefty"

These are rated at 850kgs which is just about on for the RRS TDV6, the D3 requires 1050kg rated alloys

Ahh, didn't know that, I knew the D3 (being 200kgs heavier than the sport) needed the stronger alloy.

PS

Most 20" Stormers "out there" are 900kg rated..only a few are the uprated 1050kg wheel. RRS gone

Any genuine LR or Overfinch wheels are all 1050kg though

850kg x 4 = 3400

The car is 2500kg ish......add 5 passengers and luggage and its a bit close for comfort..............

Probably is fine but I feel better with 1050kg rated

I am trying to investigate whether or not my wheels are fake................ I thought the genuine wheels had the "Overfinch" on one spoke? Mine do not, but neither does this one............. Is there a definiative answer or is it just random wheels with or without the writing?

Hi Ady

These look like replicas to me??

Apologies if I'm wrong but our wheels don't have that lip on the edge and the centrecap looks too small?

Where's this pic taken just out of interest?

Thanks

Jordan

Hi there

The early run of Supersport wheels did not have OVERFINCH stamped on one of the spokes, this was introduced later to differentiate the genuine wheels from the copies.

If you send images of your wheels to jordan.sloane@overfinch.com I can usually tell whether they are counterfeit or not.

Thanks

Jordan

That's definitely genuine as the spokes go right to the edge of the rim and Overfinch is engraved on the spoke.

Jordan, the wheels i had on my old sport wasn't genuine which i found out later when i fit my winter wheels, the Overfinch replica's where fitted to my motor when i bought it from a so called L/R specialist who told me at the time that they were genuine overfinch wheels Shocked As the L/R brand was new to me and its extras i had no reason to dispute or even check the fact weather they were genuine or not. Either way they were good strong copies that stood upto the job with no cracks occurring.
Jordan, i think one of your guys cut them up with an angle grinder Laughing when the guy i sold it to (Steve) who came in for new tigers new bodykit and new interior. I think you will remember him. We had a conversation about him last time i was in your office. Thumbs Up
