What is this for?

Collected my RRS on saturday Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy and cant stop playing with it, ive found this connector in the centre console under the lid, the car has BT so guessing its not for a phone?



I'm hoping its for connecting my iphone?

If this is the case, is there a lead with the new iphone 5 connector available?

Not sure about the 2007 as I think it looks a little different from my 2010.

Mines for iPod Thumbs Up (never tried the phone as career means we are not allowed to use when driving anyway) etc. £25 for a lead from a dealer or check out E bay.

Someone with a 2007 will probably confirm or otherwise soon.

Looks like the 'old' style Nokia phone connector - but I wouldn't swear on it.

It is for a Land Rover adaptor which then took various earlier Nokia phones.

It's crazy that land rover think in 2007 it was up today's to put a Nokia connector and not an iPhone. Really stupid! Always clean.

I'm sure i did read that it can be used with an iPhone with the right cradle?, think it might have been a modded BMW one or something?, i could be wrong....would'nt be the first time lol. TDV8
