Not sure where your best line of attack is.
It seems £250 is their best offer, or they are saying, 'just give us the car back', which i_i understand is not helpful for you.

Regarding the steering/wheel alignment, this is an easy fix for around £60. Get the car to a 4 wheel alignment place with Hunter Hawk equipment (or similar) and get them to fix it. Take a look here to find a ocal place near you


Regarding the traction control issue, that sounds a little more involved, but there are posts on here with similar symptoms, so it could be worth seeing how they were resolved for people.

Personally, I'd make a bit more noise with the dealer and escalate it within the branch to the MD etc to see if they are aware of the service that you are receiving. Sadly not all dealers are the same, some being fantastic, some rubbish....seems you've found the latter  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Before you contact LR, try making an appointment with the dealer principal and put your case to that person. Like many, I would be if you went over my head before giving the chance to resolve the issue. Service and sales staff have an agenda, the dealer principal is going to want to stop you running up the road screaming. Customer services will by led by the dealership so get them onside first. I went through all this and got stonewalled by Custermer services and that was with a brand new car. Much more constructive to strike up a relationship with key staff believe me I talk from the heart. Agree the issues should have been picked up and you shouldn't need to pay to get it corrected.  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
