Are LR going to be able to improve reliability/quality and customer service if they double production and make all these models I wonder |

That does look like quite a diluted model range, akin to the Audi brand where its hard to tell one model from the next |

This is partly what finished Rover/MG - if they had concentrated on Rover 75 and MGTF they would probably still be here now |

I had an MGTF and my dad had a 75 and we were both very happy with them and I believe they were the only models that made a profit |

I had an MGF for 2 weeks before I threw it back into the car pool at work a few years back, possible one of the worst cars I've had. |

The TF was a big step forward from the F in the same way a D2 was from a D1 - both developed under BMW management so sorry - you used a bad example |

This is also my problem. 8 LR products, most new purchases, since 1996 but this one could well be my last as they are pricing themselves out of the market for private buyers. Jaguars are going the same way - Autocar test the new Sportbrake with the 2.2TD, it costs £55000 in the Portfolio trim they tested. How can that be justified? The new F type too starts at £55000 yet it has so many bits taken from the Evoque parts bins as does the new FFRR. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |
