Having had a my12 loaner for a month in the summer I really miss the power tailgate

I would be happy if mine just opened never mind closed as well with the remote - the button on the tailgate worked well enough though

Just can't justify 27k to change to a power tailgate right now

It's not going to be cant be bothered because it auto closes...it will be disabled for a reason...seems silly to me, auto open can be just as dangerous Mike

I agree Mike, I'm sure it comes down to an H&S issue.

For me, it would save the embarrassment of accidentally hitting the wrong button on the dash when parked and having to get out of the car to shut the bloody thing  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
