Hmm I blanked the valves on my 2.7hse and fuel economy went from 26 to 28 mpg average. It has now dropped to about 27, I believe this is due to the colder weather. There should be no need for a remap as far as I know, though I'm told there can be problems and errors with newer (2007 onwards) cars after blanking. |

I have a TDV6 and was getting around 20mpg pure short journeys and local driving, since the winter kicked I'm averaging 17mpg. |
