BMWs have had a lot of press recently about key codes being scanned when used by owners. Dont know about Audis.

a fair few years ago, working for a few days with company in London, i was amazed how little was said when you drove up and loaded up a car with a hi-ab onto the flat bed lorry and drove away with it due to unpaid fines, even neighbours walking out and saying morning when bring the milk in nothing was said.

There is usually a reason they are stolen, often to be used in high value/risk robberies. The North West is plagued with these sort of thefts for this reason. Spud |
