Thinking about a new TV and the Bradders household have got their eye on a fancy Samsung internet tele. We are on a 50gb monthly download package and I wondered if anyone knew how much download is taken up streaming movies etc. before I push the button...........

My usage was hitting 40gb a month, we watch more stuff on iplayer/4od etc, rather than recording stuff or watching live tv. We also have iPods/iPads/Xbox live constantly connected to the net, so went with an unlimited package with BT.
You should just about be ok with 50gb (downloading a film is about 8-900mb)

As for streaming, my kids watch you tube cartons of Ben 10, Netflix, I stream using iTunes Match, plus Apple TV

Change ISP to one with no limit? We use bethere and they are the dogs dangly bits. If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.

I have a 55 inch Samsung smart tv they are great with wifi and all the different apps you can download it got a web cam built In if you got a samsung galaxy s3 will control your tv with it.
