I collect a TDV8 last Monday and today I was looking to fit my set of 19inch wheels.


I was a bit surprised to find the locking bolt on one of the front wheels was only a little more than finger tight. It was soon evident why - the bolt was so mutilated that the outer portion was rotating independently of the main bolt!!

Obviously there is no way it could tightened to 140Nm !!

So now I need a new set of locking wheel bolts and I suspect an argument with the dealer whose technician (butcher) must have seen it at the service and pre-sales check they did a few days.

Anyone know the price?

38 quid for 4 x bolts and key if i remember correctly
