All owners of brand new RRS's brought after Feb 2011,

I was curious to read the link below ( Department of Transport) regarding Daytime Running Lights.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Cars that are manufactured after Feb 2011 should be fitted with DRL, which RRS's are not, as I know they have to be brought seperatly. My local LR said the led lights that circle the head lights can't be wired up for DRL.

I believe this applies to new models (as in design) homologated from Feb 2011. Not just new cars. The sport is just facelifted so it doesn't apply.

Indeed, it is new models - a common confusion regarding DRLs.

I applaud manufacturers sticking to the intention of the regulations, and not using the DRL rules as an excuse to fit bright, overly aggressive lighting to the front of cars. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
