GLWTS Thumbs Up

Talking to a guy on the Land Rover stand at Goodwood on Friday, he stated that the 4.4 will fit in the RRS but Ford won't supply LR enough engines to put them in both the FF and the RRS. So LR only put it in the FFRR.

Not sure if that's true but I wouldn't be surprised... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

MW - I know how you feel!

I had a 2012 RRS with 8 speed paddle shift box for the day yesterday while mine was in the service and was very impressed. The gear box seems to make up for the drop in power from my V8 to the point that it wasn't really noticeable.

Having also had the 4.4 FF for the day I really can't blame you for wanting one. It's such a shame that the circumstances have forced your hand. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

yes the 8 speed really gives the 3.0 a fighting chance against the TDV8
