Bouncing and hopping

Hi all,

On occasions while driving i get a bouncing, closest i can explain is that it feels as though i have warped wheel/tyre but as this only occurs occasionally i am dismising that possibility.

Can anyone offer a possible reason for the above, ring any bells with someone who has had similar? suspension maybe?

Thanks in advance.

Do you use access height mode??
And is it only at the beginning of the journey?
Check before you set off that you are in normal height

Thanks for the reply.

The "bounce" can occur anytime, there seems to be no pattern to it, the car is not in access mode when its bouncing, i thought about flat spots on the tyres that have been a recent topic on here but i could say drive 30 miles, stop for fuel then drive off with the bounce occurring again, so it can't be flat spots on the tyres.

The car is due a service soon so i shall get the dealer to investigate it i suppose, i just posted as it may have jogged someone's memory who experienced something similar.

Cured it

Had new tyres fitted today and while changing them the fitter found a inch long crack on the rim of the alloy, so alloy discarded and spare fitted while i source a new alloy, drove car and no more bouncing and hopping.

Also cured the pulling to the left i had never been able to get sorted even with a 4 wheel alignment, seems the old tyres were to blame for that to.

FYI Event mobile tyres fitted me new Hankooks £161 all in for each tyre, not bad i think and all done at my house.
