Turbo problems / recall on my09 range rover 3.0 twinturbo

Any one else had turbo problems with the my09 3.0 twin turbo?

got restricted performance code then took it to dealers

Mines having to have a turbo replaced underwarranty is it a common fault or recall? thinking of taking out an extended warranty now
