Should I buy? whats it worth ?
Hello I am a newbie to the forum, and what a good forum its is I have a chance of buying through a friend a 2008 (reg late Dec) 2.7TDV6 HSE in dark green, quite a tidy car couple of scuffs on the bumpers, towbar, the only down side its done 108000 miles - can you all advise me whats it worth and what I should look for problem wise?

This months cap retail is 21,750, cap cleam (trade) is 19,150

private sale id say closer to the 19k with the miles and the colour

many thanks chaps, think I will go for it, im not sure its Tonga green, its like a metallic british racing green colour, the only thing i found on it that did not work is the reversing sensors is this a common fault, although the guy who owns the car said they have not worked since LR fitted the towbar!!!! About to get into a sport

common yeah usually a sensor is gone which shuts down the whole system

green is a very hard colour to sell on just make sure the price reflects this

Check that it's had the belt done (at 105k miles I think on the 2.7) 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

well I brought the sport got delivered today, the guy I brought from even had it serviced including getting the belts changed the only thing is, my wife told me as I am away, the seat belt pretensioner warning light is on - is this a common fault? About to get into a sport

I havn't come accross it before, it maybe just one of the usual electrical gremlins that these cars come with as standard

nope usually a sign of an accident .......not a know common problem as far as I'm aware.

any advice what mines worth then!!! 2008 v6 hse in grey with side steps, fridge, tv etc. in cracking codition apart from small wear on the drivers seat, 64k miles and just been serviced with full service history!! ay idea of price?? taxed until feb next year and mot may.
