Its always the same old stories, Go back some 15 years when there wasn't as many diesel cars on the road like there is today diesel was cheaper than petrol and the government was encouraging people to buy diesel cars because diesel was cheaper than petrol and with the advances of the diesel engine it was cleaner to run a diesel powered motor, so what did everyone do, mainly company car drivers, go out and get a diesel Then the government saw an oportunity to gain more revenue from this as they always do The same will happen to all those people having solar panels fitted to their roofs.

MW - Same here; service, road tax, MOT and warranty renewal in next 4 weeks. Just did rear pads this month.

Mine is 5 years old and I keep telling myself something a little cheaper to run would be sensible. But then I drive to St Andrews and back in one day to pick our son up from university and I cant think of another car i could do that in so comfortably  FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
