I think the previous owner of my car must have worn lots of rings and as a result the gear knob is quite scratched. If anyone has a better one kicking around then give me a shout.

Now that you mention it - mines looking a bit worn too. All the chrome is wearing thin and the brass (?) showing through.

you dont seem to see many that have been changed for an after market one (plenty about on the net for about £85), as the standard one is about as nice as it gets, in fact i would go as far as to say that it is one of the loveliest knobs i have held in my hand!  MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Mine is scrathed to as well and I dont wear rings.....think this is just how they go.

I would also like a new knob , although mine is an unusual colour (le mans interior)
