2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Parking Brake Squeal

Had an error appear on the dash the other day "Parking Brake Fault"

Are few restart cleared it, however since it makes a very loud squealing noise when disengaged, obviously ill get it into LR but anyone had this before.

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Sister had it on hers a few months back, sounded horrendous but as said, clean and adjust was all that was required.

if you keep using it whilst it is squealing, it will break the actuator itself, so more expensive than doing some maintenance instead....

LR warranty so ill just need to get it in, stopped usng it in the mean time.

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

I've had to have mine "cleaned" twice after the dreaded squeal noise starts, neither time could it be done under warranty. ONE hours labour charge each time, but perfect afterwards.
