Car doing strange, stuff typical RRs

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Hope u enjoy yor eggs! A quick question.....the other day I noticed my Upper tailgate won't unlock (it will work by the main round button to open full boot tho) and then yesterday my battery was totally flat...is there a link between the two issues? I'm sure I've heard sum1 mention this b4 and we all know how strange these cars are! Confused
The battery was brand new fitted 4 months back so no problems there. Java black 2006

yes mate your upper tailgate switch will be causing your battery to drain do a search for upper tailgate switch Thumbs Up

My upper tailgate has never worked on my 06 since I got it twelve months ago , and touch wood never had any probs with battery
