Don't know if it's the warmer weather but drivers door won't lock on the remote. I had an issue in the colder weather with the passenger door not locking but that appears to have resolved itself. Anyone had any similar issues?

Had a very similar issue recently on my 2005 TDV6.

Intermittent fault with the locking and the remote not seeming to work without warning. Tried the other spare remote and that too didn't work.

Got worse and worse and mine too was weather/temperature dependent.

Turned out to be the 'splitter junction' where the the wires from the receiver unit trail off to each of the doors. This is notorious for deteriorating my independent (James French 4x4) tell me. Took 30 minutes to replace, total £60.

If yours is a 2006 then it's in the age zone for that to happen.

Just a suggestion..  2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE in Artic Frost. 20" 2010 HST Alloys, sidesteps, Hawke tips, plus minor bits and bobs along with a remap. Four spike spiders ready for the Alps again now tucked up in their garage boxes...

Common fault on the older motors, as Oxford says or its the door lock itself, i had both my door locks replaced under warranty, first the drivers door lock faltered then 3 months later the passanger door lock went the same way
