HI
I have managed to run my battery flat charging laptop in boot via inverter
and iphone in cradle while on the phone with the ignition on for a hour with sat nav on
and ignition, then low andbehold went to start and a click.
Got a jump start and car started ok, however now the suspension stuck on entry level and won't move just says suspensioon fault, anybody any ideas of a fix please.
Or is it going to be a small mortgage again?
Please help

It might be a case of there isn't enough charge in the battery yet, The first sign of a flat battery on these motors and everything throws a wobbler, if you can give it a full charge and hopefully everything will be ok

If it was upto me I would insist Lr put your email and the forum address in the owners manual as a
invaluable source of info when it comes to owning one of these pigs, the morris minor is now more reliable
on another note antone now how to force a computer reboot on a 2007? suspension problem still exists

Try a reset, disconnect both your battery leads and hold them together for several minutes then reconnect, positive terminal first

Finally some good news, having been messing around with different things trying to resolve suspension issue
started checking fuses and low and behold beside the battery in the fuse and relay holder a yellow 60amp fuse
looked blown and on further inspection was, bridged it and fault fixed.
This was friday evening found this so rushed to Guy Salmon sat morning parts don't open saturdays, how are they, but glad to find fault

Just one tip the alternator on late 2009 cars on do not fully charge the battery once is has been drained. It MUST be charged with a battery charger, and one of the newer ones. The old trickle chargers don't work properly with the newer batteries. It is all about fuel consumption/power management, this is not unique to LR most new cars are the same. See my post re flat battery, the roadside assist and LR reckon you can drive the car to the moon and it would not fully charge the battery, once it has been drained significantly. They adivsed that typically once drained the alternator will only take it to 60% charge, enough to start it and trick you into thinking it was good, but in fact, just waiting for a small drain to catch you out. SWMBO owns this car I get to drive occasionally

modern heated seats will kill a battery in a few minutes if the engine is not on ============
