6in of muddy fieild, and it was game over, could have probably rocked it out with enough time, but it was well stuck?......

Road biased tyres and soft squelchy mud does not give you traction as the tyres fill with mud and become slicks |

Yep pretty much what happened, the tyre were solid mud, all 4 were a day old as well |

Did a bit of green lane this week in my fl1 and thought I was going to get stuck but got out of it ok with standard m+s tyres - would not have liked to try it in RRS with 20" crapinentals though |

Aside from an old 300Tdi Defender I used to own, never had off road tyres and never got stuck and in significant mud too............Mud Terrain in the Disco 3 / RRS / Freeloader 2 and the current Big Daddy has always got me through.
