Now at the end, what was your experience with the spanish car paint shop?
Did the remove the bumper etc to paint or they used masking tape?

Just got mine back from the LR dealer for a 420 euro paintjob of the hood, and as expected:
a big, big color difference!

They responded that if i wanted the car in all the same color, they had to repaint the whole car!

I bought spare set of side claddings along with tailgate trim, these were painted off car, the colour was pretty good, so I then had the bumpers painted whilst on the vehicle with the upper part masked off.

Apparantly they get the paint mixed to a set recipe, I think they had to get 2 mixes as the first mix did not have the metalic part laying correctly. I was told that part of the recipe included a very small amout of a certain item that causes this.

You will note, I did not get the parking sensors painted, on the paint shops recommendations.

I should add that the paint shop was an English body shop. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

The lower door mouldings look great colour coded as well. Where there any issues matching here as the material is plastic rather than metal? TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

No problem at all, however it took a little extra primer and rubbing down to give a smooth finish as the original mouldings have a sparked finnish.
