its really a lottery mate as the lux doesn't have a history in the guide, id expect that the Lux will fetch a premium in the retail market whilst they are still in production , considering the % depreciation id expect you would get your 2k back on it |

i would suggest it will always be relative - i cant see people specifically going for a luxury like they might an a/b...so you might get the % relative premium back.

I don't work in the trade but I will say, cars aren't investments so just don't worry too much and enjoy it instead. The difference you are worrying about, in a normally operating 2nd hand market, will be in the region of a grand maximum, probably a lot less.

in fact thinking about the dates I picked up the 57 plate TDV8 HSE (black with black with 20's) for less than £30k and it wasn't even 15 months old...... truly luck, not judgement. It won't happen to me again |

In my experience these extras don't count if you're selling, but add a premium if you're buying. |

The 1st owner always takes the biggest hit on a new motor no matter what the spec, it will just make your motor a bit more desireable maybe when you come to sell if your selling private, if you are trading it in to a dealer then it really doesn't make much difference to the trade in value to them so i wouldn't expect a good return on all your extras off a dealer. |
