Amazing Bose Soundlink

I have had a coupe of Bose Sounddocks over the years and a B&W Zeplin....but I got a Bose Soundlink yesterday, and it's amazing with the iPad and iPhone....wireless...and the sound is great!

Anyone else got one?

make or break for Bose imo - I've got one at the moment for 'testing' purposes - works very well, although imo doesn't match the SONOS Play:5 for sound

Agree with what has been said above. I was a proper Bose fan, I have a Lifestyle system and DID have a SoundDock portable and 3 wave systems. Over the past 6 months I've sold all bar one wave system and the lifestyle and replaced with Sonos Play 5's, much better sound and the ability to get things like napster saves me a fortune!

Kaine,

I'm looking at the Sonos 5 for my living room especially with the iPad and iPhone. I take it you would recommend it also possibly with an s3 for the bedroom/kitchen. RRS TDV8 (loving it)

yep - been installing SONOS now for over 4 years and can confirm its extremely reliable and sound quality is very good. I'm bench marking a Monitor Audio ideck 200 also over xmas and imo the Play:5 compares to it - the MA does look cool though

Interesting topic at the right time.

My dad is a big Bose fan, and I have a wave in the bedroom and in the office and I've been looking for something for my front room in the house, and had knda been swayed to the new B&W Zeppelin with AirPlay, but do you guys not rate them as much? MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

The B&W is excellent - you just need the space for it really as its ain't small. Like all these units, the B&W still needs to sit near a wall imo to get the best sound
