Rear Washer Jets not working

Hi guys,

i dont have any water coming out of the rear washer jets onto the rear screen...is this a common fault??

can anyone shed some light on a possible fix??

Have you tried to diagnose the problem?

Is the noise still present when you try to activate them?

Is there water in the filler bottle etc.

I have had no problems with mine, but think you may get better assistance if you fully describe what is happening, and when you noticed the problem. 2011 TDV6 Luxury - Baltic Blue, Ebony with Contrast Stitch, RSE, Stormers, Towpack.

Hi mate,

Thanks for your reply. Yes the noise is there when I activate the washers but just no water coming out. I've checked water level and it's fine. May be a blockage??

Im pretty sure the pipes run from the pump at the washer bottle, under the car and are accessed by removing the cars plastic under trays , then it runs via the back bumper towards the roof and into the tailgate spoiler.

Could be one of those jobs aswell given to a specialist who can have it done in 30mins.
