As above post, very happy with my MY10 v6, one other reason I didn't go for the v8 is that it was only available in HSE spec, and as mine is a company car I didn't fancy paying a couple of thousand a year more in tax for a rear view camera and a fridge!

I did. Prefer my 07 TDV8. Sure, the interior of the newer cars is much nicer, but... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I had nice 2008 sold in fit of stupidity. Spent next 6 months to get back into a RRS. Drove the MY2011 TDV6, very nice interior, smooth etc, BUT it didn't have the effortlessness of the V8. I knew that if I brought one I would regret it and always try to justify it with better mpg etc. Found a beaut low mile 2010 TDV8 with nice interior, great sound, awesome urge, acceptable fuel economy, what more can you ask for? |

MY10 TDV8 for the win! Lots are coming available too (believe LR used a bunch as mgmt cars although this is disputed by some reports they were hire cars). You can get a 60 plate TDV8 if you really search.

I have had a 2.7 TDv6 and wife has a 3.0 D4 and for the last 5 years I have had a TDv8 RRS. I have demo'd a number of 3.0 TDv6 RRS but simply cant make the switch.
