Foxy doesn't come on here much these days she has sacked her local dealer FARNELLS OF BRADFORD who in turn have sacked a few of their own employees for what reason i can only guess foxy is now using another dealer who are fantastic i might add and have sorted out all her previous problems that in her eyes farnells of bradford had caused in the first place So foxy is still running around in her siberian silver sport very happy again but i have also seen her running around in a AM which i thinks she really likes Last edited by Ady 555 on Wed Jan 25 2012 2:04pm. I had it for 5 months of which they had 6 attempts to stop roof leaking into the boot. Two of the attempts involved a whole new roof mechanism (i was told) but to no avail. My rejection approaches were not heard. I there fore stopped writing to the dealer and wrote to the manufacturer direct and copied in the dealer into all correspondance. I also copied in the SMMT (just for effect really) and always mentioned in correspondance that under Sale of Goods Act 1979, specifically Section 14 it details that the car I bought from them must be of satisfactory quality. I also stated that having it repaired was not my acceptance of the ability for future non rejection. In addition, pull your car from the dealer, but spell out that you are doing so to send to an independant specialist and get them to do a report on the problem. Keep the mileage as minimal as possible as this goes in your favour. In the end i was issued a refund (minus £300 in mileage offset!!) on the legal advice that as they had replaced the roof 2 times and that they had more than 3 chances to fix a single fault (an un written number set in precedent i think judges tend to use if goes to court) the concluded the dealer had no where else to go and to now they were effectively repairing items that were not even present when the car was built (i.e the new roof).
