Colour requirement won't make it easy but you should be able to find something at that age/price. Had a quick look on Pistonheads and they have quite a few in that price area. Mostly not silver though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thanks for your reply! I'm not completely set on silver but just think its a little more understated than others... As much as a rrs can be!!!

The Land Rover website approved used car search system throws up 10 TDV8 at less than £28k, 27 if you go up to £30k, 11 of which are "grey". It's a good search facility. Worth a look if you haven't already seen it. 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

all very true but i guess with the doom and gloom around the economy at the moment the number of buyers is depressed as well.?

I thought about seriously about a TDV8 but bought a TDV6 from a LR Dealer over the phone/web without driving it as I work abroad. Wanted a good 4x4 for my wife, had read articles about the TDV6 being underpowered etc but I have to say it's a great car. Sure it can very occasionally feel a little slow but its a big 4x4. They are a blast I ALWAYS want more, could not believe what they will do off road (Land Rover Experience Day) so the compromise is well worth it. Steve H |
