I like the sunroof as it lets in lots of light which makes the interior seem big and bright.
So I say go for it. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Richchad, you can change your order up until approx twenty four hours before the build date. But going on past comments on this site, not many dealers will do this due to the extra work involved. It's a lot easier to say no, after all - your only the paying customer. Confused

Personally, I'd keep the money in my pocket. £895 for a sunroof is very steep! These motors have an excellent aircon system. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I think it's nice to have .... just wish it opened more. I don't think it can since it would take headroom from the rear passengers. Rob

I wouldn't get too obsessed about it.

If you LIKE a sunroof - Buy it
If you can justify almost +£1k on the cost of your car - Buy it
If you have any doubt - Save your cash and get it chipped instead and still pocket £2-300!

I can't imagine you'll re-coup the money when you sell it. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Sunroof or not...

We placed our order today - and the deal was - I get to pick the exterior colour (Java) if I ordered the sunroof (for my wife). The HSE we test drove had one and although I am not a fan, it did make the interior seem larger. I don't see how is decreases the headroom which is ample. It does seem smallish compared to the "panorama" type sunroofs you now see on Mercedes Benz cars and Porsches. It could be that roll over protection limits the size...don't know. Anyway - it's in the mix now, so even though I'm the type that locks the electric lifts so the passengers won't open the windows, we'll now have one in the roof.

Go for the sunroof. Apart from everything else, there's far more light in the car even with it closed and the blind open. I actually find the airco sometimes blows too cold, no matter how you set it, and anyway, long journeys with airco = blinding headaches at the end. nuff said!

Kevin - solution to your headache - leave the wife at home! Wink
