England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Cam belt/chain

Hi guys just bought a 2008 v6 hse and want to know 2 things, is it chain or belt with the cam and when is it due to be changed?? It's on 54k now. Thank you. Mike

You should be Ok on that front for a while yet. Cam belt at front, and HP fuel pump belt at rear of engine require replacement at 105,000 miles, or 7 yrs,whichever the sooner, under normal operating conditions. There are also chains connecting the camshafts on each bank BTW, but there is no stated replacement requirement for these. RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i
