If there are any forum members that tow this is a fantastic system. If you have a factory option camera then there is a blind spot of around 1.5m rear of vehicle - which means you can't see the tow ball - the trailair system incorporates a rear view camera optimised for hitching ( the view as the Freelander demo on the website)
In addition the installation for RRS is the shortest amongst the range at 1.1hrs ( excluding valves)

With the removal of the rear view mirror to have the trailair one with the video monitor

What happens to the sensors built in to the mirror, I know the mirror you supply has the auto dimming, but what about the other sensor, I believe in my FL2 it has a humidity sensor for the auto climate control

With regard to the humidity sensor in the mirror, our understanding from Land Rover is that this is a fine tuning mechanism (on the HSE) which helps demist under certain conditions. Removing the sensor does not have any adverse effects or stop the demist feature working.

This feature is not in the mirror of the RRS/Discovery.
