Need some help hear please, had my 2010 3.0 ltr Diesel HSE in for it's first service (not rip off LR dealer) but a small garage I trust, I downloaded the maintenance check sheet from this forum and they worked to that, the only thing is they don't have the ability to reset the service counter & reset the oil level indicator,
Not to worried about service counter, does anyone have a clue how to reset the oil level indicator, as you know theres no dip stick so we have to depend on an electronic device blooming crazy rather have dip stick then I know how much oils in it. Any info would be much appreciated.

You cant reset it - it reads the oil in the sump!!

Make sure they use the right spec oil...its really hard to buy Mike

Out of interest, where did u get service done, and is it much difference to the £370 I paid at parks? Also can they do the software updates? Mine was on a laptop for 6 hours when it went in!

I must apologise for not answering this post when you were kind enough to answer me, I was in hospital having a shoulder operation and completely forgot about it. Codfather I won't use them again for Sport they don't have the correct equipment shame they are good for less technical cars. We don't have an independent LR garage around us so need to look further afield. TDV8HST LR or someone with an auto lodgic can reset service counter prob no that by now. MSE yep the oil was hard to get then but easy now dear as well, I put another post in which Bobby and TDV8HST answered, have a look shows us how to reset oil level indicator, the post is under MAINTENANCE & MODIFICATIONS (2010 OIL CHANGE BETWEEN SERVICES).
