The current warranty on our RRS expires in December. The warranty that came with the car was a policy provided by the dealer. Rather than simply renew this policy, I’d like to be sure I have something that is more a) known and b) watertight – don’t want someone wriggling out of payment.

I have been looking today and got quotes from Warranty Direct and click4warranty. The latter has a list that shows what is covered under each level of cover offered while warranty direct did not. There are also options on franchised dealer or independent garage repairs. I am swaying towards the franchised dealer option.

Looking for warranty on a Dec 2006 RRS 4.2 SC, done 40k miles and will be doing 10k miles PA.

For those who have taken out a private warranty, who do you recommend using and why?

The guy there seems to be really on the ball, there warranty looks great, give him a call he seems like one of the good guys.

It is a pretty basic website, but the policy document shows tells the story that it is a pretty robust warranty to have. Price is reasonable too.
