I have the option, and have tried it out just to see how good or bad it was as it's not cold enough to use in anger yet, and I would say that it gets warm enough to heat up your hands and keep them cosy. Would also say that it heated up a lot quicker than I expected it too, was only a matter of seconds |

They warm up pretty quickly, but they don't get really hot, just enough to warm your fingers on a cold morning. Must admit I haven't specced the Park Heat on my new car as I was not impressed with it on the current car but I have made sure it has a heated steering wheel 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I would say it gets "warm enough". I am happy with it. On my XJR the heated wheel came on automatically with the heated seat and got so hot I considered getting oven gloves (lambswool, obviously, dear boy).

I start to feel mine warming within 1 - 2 minutes. Within 5 minutes it is very warm and then as it cools abit over the next 10 minutes. There may be a built in thermostat that takes a while to sense the temperature rise. It's bloody good on a cold Melbourne day.
