My rear view mirror fell off the windscreen and now flops about annoyingly. I couldn't get it to go back on, so called in at the local LR garage today. They tell me I need a whole new windscreen becuase the plastic lugs that should hold the rear view mirror in place have snapped off. Anyone come across this problem before. Seems well radical and expensive to replace the whole screen just because of a couple of small bits of plastich have snapped off. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

That sounds very extreme.....you wouldn't change the door if a wing mirror came off!! |
