Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

I have upgraded. The process was very straightforward and for me relatively quick - be warned the file size is about 4gb so you need a reasonably good broadband connection, and if you have any limits to your downloads make sure it doesn't make you go over this.

To be honest, I haven't noticed that much difference although to be fair some of these may be in the background. They've improved iphoto, ical, imail but I don't really use them much so will have to try these out. For £20.99 it's not expensive and I haven't had any problems as yet. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Gone: 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black, Ivory/Lunar interior, grand black lacquer finish, HK Logic 7.1 Surround, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, heated steering wheel.

Gone: Jaguar XF Luxury, Pearl Grey, Dove Interior

If you still use Aplleworks as a database - DON'T upgrade. I would wait a least a month until others have reported all the problems and Apple have fixed them. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

From another site I use!

Quote:
Apple will shortly be releasing Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. This is a very significant change to the Mac operating system.

I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO UPGRADE TO LION FOR THE TIME BEING.

Apart from all of its functionality and user interface changes, Lion abandons support for PowerPC applications. The result is that if you still have important files created by applications such as AppleWorks, Microsoft Entourage 2004, Quicken and others, these applications will not longer run and YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS DATA.

If you use large-format printers such as the Epson 4800 you will not be able to run the current printer driver installer, which is written in PowerPC code. Legacy printer and scanner support is unknown. The compatibility, performance and colour-faithfulness of Adobe software is at present unknown. Microsoft Office 2008's Auto Updater is also a PowerPC application; consequently Office 2008 will not auto-update in Lion. No version of Filemaker Pro is qualified to run in Lion. Many accounting applications are still in PowerPC code and will not run.

If you have important data in proprietary PowerPC-only formats such as AppleWorks, you must migrate that data to current formats before updating. Microsoft Entourage 2004 users must upgrade at least to Entourage 2008 and preferably Outlook 2011. Note: I have found that Outlook 2011 will not directly import Entourage 2004 data. This must first be converted to Entourage 2008 format.

I recommend you wait for at least a month after Lion's release for the early adopters to discover and work around problems before considering the upgrade.

Lion seems to be good, some things are better than others. Biggest pain is the lack of support for power pc code. My adobe photoshop cs no longer works and office 2004 is the same story Sad

Otherwise all seems good for now at least...

Making sure that everything is backed up on time machine and will only upgrade the other MacBook once I know that this build is as stable as it should be

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

As soon as I got the email when Lion came out I bought it RIGHT AWAY! While it was downloading I read quite a few reviews stating this and that did not work with the new OS. The most shocking to me review was that Microsoft Excel did not work. It got me quite quite worried, I even considered keeping the downloaded file for some time untouched. Yet I decide to install it.

All I have to say, all those reports were 100% biased. I use my Mac with Parallels day in and day out. Absolutely everything on my Mac works as it should be, no problems whatsoever. However, I can't say much about AppleWorks and Entourage - I do not use these. Other than that, there are some improvements, and quite a few fancy little things like full screen, browsing between pages (1,000% awesome new feature). I yet have to learn all the new stuff. Even now I noticed, when typing autocorrection and suggestion of words comes in the same was is on IPhone 4. I think this OS is brilliant.
There are some new features you have to get used to, for example: mouse scroll direction has been changed, it is now the same as in Windows, but you can change that to the way you like it. Cannot really see the point of Mission Control, but will learn its benefits in time, I am sure.
Switching between screens can now be done with the mouse with a simple scroll, which I think is very cool. Reading list - Brilliant!
The only downside so far for me is that confirmation buttons like : "OK", "Cancel" have now been changed to a square shape, instead of oval horizontally based - I do not like that. Previous shape was Mac's signature, so to speak. But that seems like a small design change to stay consistent, i.e. the buttons are the same shape as iPhone 4.
Also for some reason, I think that the Safari's top left buttons : Minimise, Maximise, Close - are now not as colourful as before! There is definitely something going on with the colour scheme... not sure...Imail is the same as me.com email, ical looks very nice, address book looks much more sophisticated.
But seriously, browsing web is super easy and convenient now.
This is not Vista - do not be afraid of upgrading! Vadim A.
