Wot do you use to detail a car Foxy? Will it have as good an effect on a silver car? Everyones talking about detailing these days but I'm not sure wot it is, I always just used the bog standard polish and waxes frm meguiers but I fancy giving this detailing malarky a try!

Looks great mate. Invest in some poorboys black hole as a polish, and it will look great. And then as you have done, the Z8 as a Detailer will give it a very wet look...I would stay away from Megs tyre stuff though as it has far too much fling to it, and if you do use it make sure you give it a pad down first......

I've got some PBBH but not managed to try it out yet.

The Meguires hot wheels tyre black I've found to be incredible Nick... 2 coats (5 mins in between) and do not dab it after the 2nd coat gives a deep wet look that lasts days. RRS gone

Also Costco do a great packet of approx 30 MF towels, in yellow, which make good cloths for general use. About £10 ithink.

Poor boys do a great dressing for the interior called Natural Look. It's by far the best interior stuff to use, not shiny, but really brings out the black, and smells gorgeous too....

Don't forget the wax for the alloy wheels too, to keep the brake dust off...Rim Wax always works good too...

Hot wheels is better than the gel, good call Thumbs Up but a really good tyre treatment should last 2-3 weeks, not days.....
