i did go to look at a merc once, but i couldnt get over the sales man.... He had briefs on and such tight pants that his vpl was so disturbing i had to leave !!!!

The Sport original does look dated now Richard but with the facelift, its somehow got a massive new lease of life. I think most German cars date badly, probably due to them nipping and tucking them seemingly every other week.

Only good thing about BMW's is that they aren't in the garage for 4 weeks at a time and they never seem to break down. Enjoy for the meantime though

Appart from they do - they just dont winge about it...many have to have minor work like new engines and gearboxes!
