Anyone fitted aftermarket exhuast to a tdv6???

Just wondering if there's anyway of making the tdv6 sound a bit better. obviously not gonna growl like a petrol but has anyone done this??

Dunno about the the tdv6 but this is what I did on my 535d

Took all of the boxes out and ran straight pipes from the particle filter through to the tail pipes.

Nick Current : Overfinch TDV8
Gone : BMW M6 V10
Gone : BMW 535d
Gone : BMW X5 4.6
Gone : BMW M3
Gone : Merc E280

Yeah!! I like it, sounds pretty good for a derv. Liked your comment about your M6 with the Eisenman, yeah i bet that sounds a little bit better. I've got an M5 with aftermarket pipes on and that sounds awsome.

What did you do? Did you just replace the silencers from cat back with strait pipe or did you have the pipes made up?

I just turned up at one of the local boy racer zorst and wheel centres and asked them to fabricate a stainless , box less system from the DPF in the centre of the car back.



Never did take a vid of the M6 ...... Was too busy grinning to myself at the awesome noise it made Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up Ebay £500 for a janspeed exhuast which will fit a tdv6.It looks good from the photos on the site.
