Has anyone else got an Ivory upper glove box lid which is a different colour to the lower glove box lid and the rest of the dashdash?
Mine is closer in colour to the buttermilk colour of the door speaker surround.
I'm being told they are all the same, so no point changing it if thats true until the vendor sorts it out.

I'm not aware of there being any difference on mine - if there is it is very subtle. 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Gone: 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black, Ivory/Lunar interior, grand black lacquer finish, HK Logic 7.1 Surround, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, heated steering wheel.

Gone: Jaguar XF Luxury, Pearl Grey, Dove Interior

Thats really what I'm trying to establish,the AB they lent me whilst the LR paint guy was doing the assessment was worsre than mine as someone had tried to clean it and left a huge smear. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Chris, how did you get on with your paint assesment, did the dealer coff up for your paint correction?

I don't think mine is a different colour, will look more closely in morning!

I'm still waiting to get the official report but basically they have admitted that it had been repainted in the factory to correct defects spotted at the 1st stage just after being painted but don't consider the silicons under the 2nd coat to be major defects and offered me 2 options either another respray or another machine polish to try and improve the orange peel.
Having taken advice I've declined both options as either could end up making it look worse.
They have agreed to replace all the plastic trims scratched at some stage prior to delivery and the glove box lid if they an find one that is a closer match.
Although I'm pleased to find out it hasn't been damaged and reworked after leaving the factory guess I'm still disappointed really mainly because I get the impression that they think I'm nit picking and my expectations are too high.
Given that this is my 3rd LR product ,Discovery 200tdi(5 years),MY 08 RRS(3 years) and now a MY11(3 months) and always been happy with the quality up until now guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on what I should expect.
I'm taking delivery of a new white X6 in a couple of weeks,it's on a boat as we speak so it will be interesting to do a side by side comparison between the 2 in terms of quality,comfort, performance and customer service,,will post that up I think. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.
