French?? I'm no geographer (being a geologist ) but the Luxembooooooorgers will be very upset! At least you didn't call them Belgian!

Thats cheaper than Guernsey and its cheaper to get to.

Mind you the difference is now only 20p cheaper per litre at best on UK prices. When car tax was added into price of fuel couple of years back was some 30 p a litre cheaper.

Though Guernsey states have raised the duty since, not as much as the Uk but now the differnce has been eroded by 10ppl.

It would seem that since the States stepped in and made an emergency purchase of the 2 ship tankers, as the firm was going into liquidation, the delivery costs would seem to have risen quite substainally

Filled up in Luxembourg for €1.199, Belgium €1.336 (€1.456 on the autoroutes) and French supermarket at €1.352. Doesn't help the £STG has gone south big time (thanks Brown! )!
