Fuel Rant

Now i dont really watch the fuel too much - yes i dont want to be ripped of and yes its important to know your mpg and yes its important for work miles etc...but when i pitch up at shell today to see that petrol is still £1.41 despite the crude price dropping, just takes the Censored ...i know it rises but nevers falls the same, but come on Exclamation Mike

Yep, dropped 10% on one day and latest forecasts state it could be down to $70 barrel within weeks.........should equate to us paying less than £1 per litre once again.............but I bet not Evil or Very Mad

I hear you Exclamation ...it was at a world low following the last high around 08 and it didnt drop to less than £1.

We all need to stand up on fuel £1.41 is madness and reflects nothing of the cost, impact, tax benefit etc

What can you do Mike

The fuel protests were effective, but they all got bought off so no traction there. We could all walk into garages and just pay the fuel cost minus the tax until something is done, but that's criminal (by any which way you look at the law). We could all stop driving, but thats a nose and face scenario. We could use alternatives, but unless you live in a city, you are well and truly screwed.

.....so it begs the question that the govt and petrol giants already have the answer too, what can we do...........the answer, shut up and put up or all adopt French nationalities and get something done Whistle

......there's a time for the so-called stiff upper lip and reserved attitude, that time is not now Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

However, there always seems to be petitions flying about how to reduce it ! we should protest again. But not before our diesel tank is filled up on farm. Smile

Remember George Osborne stated that he'll be watching the oil companies like a hawk to prevent the oil companies profiteering. I hope he's watching!

As #i understand it it is not criminal if you do not pay at the petrol station if you go about it in the right way.

If you leave your name and address contact details then their is nothing unlawful about that.

Use the power of the internet, get in quick, few million turning up to fill up without any money on them, that should grab someones attention Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
