Just above the number "1" on the green plastic you will see a small metal roll pin, using a small punch (approx 2-3 mm diameter) punch the pin out and the old part will come off, reverse the procedure to fit the new part. Total time to change 5 minutes.

replaced mine but the pin would not move, and it was stuck on the vehicle, so i just drilleds through the plastic handle, been carefull not to damage the centre, then ripped of with some large grips.

I have never had a problem fitting or removing the tow bar so I am a little surprised that you are having difficulty.

Thanks - its all working now, I opened the inspection cover (someone had been in it before and nearly rounded the head |
