where to get MOT done

I need to get an MOT on my RR Sport and wandered if i should go to local garage who may try and rip me off when they see the car or go to a land rover dealer- my nearest is burnham in bucks

i would expectt a land rover dealer would not be as desperate for the income and hopefully not find too many issues with the car

anyone got any recommendations

Its a checklist - if its faulty they report it. Not as if its part of service history. At the end of the day if they fail it they dont have to be the repairer too. If there is a falure and you took it elsewhere and they say it was nonesense then you have recourse at the test centre.

Took mine to a local garage and it passed ok. Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!
Ex- RRS HSE TDV6 07 Java Black, bi xenon, corner lights, side steps, tints, cool box, smoke side repeats, chrome "sport" boot sill
Ex - Audi A4 Cab 3.0TDi Quattro
Ex - Freelander2 SE TD4
Ex - CRV Auto

You could try http://www.sb-engineering.com/ ask for Sean, he does all our MOT's and work at reasonable prices.

come on, some of them fail on their way out of the dealers
