Booked motor in this wendsday for a gearbox/transmission reset & update hopefully it will sort it. Local dealership said it would possibly fix the shunt for a while but it would more than likley returne as most of the range rovers have this problem |

Have you also tried having a gearbox fluid and filter change? Although LR say they are sealed for life - that "life" is in fact 3 years and certainly over on the FFRR forums a lot of people are find that a change of fluid and filter clean + top up have also cured slipping or jerky gearboxes 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

can you guys buy a gearbox filter without the oil pan ? because in eastern Europe the filter isn't sold separatley. well, i'm really looking forward to my visit to the stealer although i have to get out of my pocket over one grand for all the fluids and the resoft..... |

The filter is part of the pan. No option to buy seperately.

had mine done too....in fact i had the entire car re-softed....engine, brakes, gearbox, suspension....everything. it's very smooth....no bangs in the gearbox, no more lag in shifting....but still, one problem remained....rear shock absorbers are trashed.... |

Mine are 285-35-22's 112V rated 30's will be far too hard and won't offer any protection of your wheels. |

yeah....i thought of that but my rims are 11J" wide and i think 285 might be a bit too narrow....and 35% out of 285 is almost the same as 30% out of 295....so the side wall is 1 cm thinner on 295/30 opposed to 285/30....but if i can i'll go for the 295/35....and hope they won't rub....in theory they shouldn't |
