Changing buttons void warranty

If you change OEM dash buttons (temp, radio, etc.) for customs Hawke ones chrome colour,
do you void warranty ?

In theory if you change any component for a non-OEM approved part you violate their warranty terms.

That said its hard to imagine such a change causing an issue, unless damage occurs during fitting
