United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Hi Guys
great responses and comments,
I will tell the dealer to politely take the Supaguard off the order.
I will get a lot of cleaning products for £570.00

superguard is like snake oil,
if two pack laquer is not hard enough already, a bit of soluble wax and polymers will only last a relativly short while. only way to keep paint work looking good and preserved is good old elbow gease and some decent products.

Davyo - spend £200-£300 to get a detailer round to the car, to polish the paint, seal it with an excellent wax, give the tyres a good coating, wax the alloys (believe me this helps) and you'll be better off, as once the dealers cleaning team touch it, you will have swirls on it already.......

Only some advice, see how you feel...

Thumbs Up

Is this treatment worth the money or are there cheaper alternatives available..?

People have different views on paint treatments. I like them because I have no space to wax my car, and to get it done round here is £50 for a basic finish, and I do not like the white marks that get left on plastics over time.

I had an Williams F1 Ceramic Coat applied to my RRS from new - it's a far superior product to Supaguard (I had my XJR done in that) and the Williams finish comes with a 5 year guarantee. I'm very pleased with my ceramic coat as it protects against bird Censored etc, it's hard as nails and delightfully shiny. And I paid a damn site less than £570! (perhaps half that, I forget).

So the dealer's ripping you off. Tell him to Supagard "this" Censored Laughing L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone!

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Ask the dealer if they treat their demo fleet with it, if he says not then ask why, if it is so good they would do it to their demo cars 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

you will find it hard to get this removed as dealers have to sell so many units.

most the time they discount most the price off the car and leave it on the invoice

but if you can get it discounted DO IT as its a gimmick, its ok but the packs I can get for £85 and take a couple of hours to apply

the better option is something like this

new car prep and protect which I have had done previously, there are many companies that offer this but you get far far far more for your money
